Tulsa Time 2.0 - the Facebook Days? [03 Apr 2013|04:27am]

[ mood | tired ]

I always valued this group; and for some reason, it hadn't been recreated on Facebook yet. Out of touch with the previous moderators of this group, and weeks after bringing it up with friends? I just went ahead and created it:

Thought I'd share :)

What where some of the things that you wish you would have asked/done if you where to do it over again? Thanks.

That doesn't cost an arm and a leg and/or lets you bring in your own caterer?

FI is agnostic, so a church is out of the question (unless we can find somewhere that will let us eat, drink and dance. Which seems entirely unlikely.)

Parks for Babies [18 Oct 2010|09:50pm]

Does anyone know which Tulsa area parks have baby swings? Florence park does NOT. We found some at Highland park. Any other suggestions? I live on the EAST side of town, so closer would be better, but it sure would be nice information to have for anywhere in town. Then I could plan park stops in among my errands anytime.

Does anybody happen to know the address for the Avis{Cendant call center? I think it's 5100 something, but I don't remember what street it's on. I need it for a job application, and I've tried Google and the yellow pages with no luck.

Thank you very much!

Fountain parks? [05 May 2010|07:01pm]

alle_goriest
[ mood | hopeful ]

I was wondering, people of Tulsa: do you know if there are any public fountain parks within the city or surrounding areas?

By that I mean specifically the geyser-type fountains with multiple spouts that shoot straight into the air. I've heard them called dancing fountains, and they are often a part of splash pads, I believe. Someone showed me pictures of the fountain on the Riverwalk (I think it was near the Fun House arcade?); that's what I'm looking for, but to a larger scale.

If you're curious, a photographer friend who is going to be in the area has a specific photoshoot in mind and needs these sort of fountains. If you can help, that would be wonderful! Thank you! (If this isn't allowed, I'm sorry and please delete.)
